Doncaster Demons

Doncaster Demons women’s rugby team welcome everyone who wants to play. Rugby can be played by people of all body types and athletic abilities and therefore we are looking for all kinds of people to join the team. It does not matter if you have never played rugby before - we will help you to learn the skills you need to have fun playing.

Joining the Demons is a great way to learn a new sport, play competitively, have lots of fun, meet new people and be part of a team. Women’s rugby is more than the game on the field - it’s about making lifelong friends.

Doncaster Demons women’s rugby team re formed in 2002, although previously the club had a ladies team for some time.

The Doncaster Demons compete in the RFUW North East 2 league, travelling as far north as Morpeth. Our matches are played on a Sunday kicking off at 14.00hrs.

Training

Training sessions are held on a Wednesday at 18.30hrs – 20.30hrs and on a Sunday at 13.00hrs when there is no match.

Women’s rugby is one of the fastest-growing sports. We always welcome new players and feel that rugby improves fitness and confidence. If you do not want to play rugby please feel free to come and support.
